Reminder: Tyson Requires BQA Certification by January 1
BQA Certification Required For All Tyson Foods Suppliers By January 1
The move to require BQA certification formalizes Tyson's existing commitment to proper handling, care and harvesting of animals used to produce beef.
You can read the full reminder announcement from Tyson HERE. There are alternative programs available for youth, dairy farmers, and Canadian suppliers. Many cattlefeeders are already certified, and getting it done has never been easier. Complete the free program online at bqa.org. When you've completed the courses, forward your certificate on to your Tyson cattle buyer.
